Mission Statement
The West Richmond Businessmen's Association (WRBA) is a private, all-male, social organization of Richmond business leaders who gather for fellowship and development of personal and business relationships, while promoting community goodwill.

Membership Application Information
WRBA is an individual-based membership, meaning the individual holds the membership - not the company.

Applicants must be sponsored and applications must be submitted with a one-time initiation fee of $125 (by check or by clicking below and paying on-line).  To complete an Application Form, please click HERE.  The initiation fee is waived if you have a family member (son, father, brother-in-law, etc.) who is a member of WRBA or if you have a co-worker who is a current member.  The WRBA Board will review all membership applications at the Board meeting following submission of the application.  You will be notified of the Board's decision immediately.

Annual dues are currently $425 and are invoiced once the Board has approved your application. Dues are then invoiced either annually in the month in which you joined, or $40 monthly ($480 annually) at the first of the month. Dues include the following:

  • All Regular Dinner with Speaker Meetings
  • Texas Hold'Em and Corn Hole Tournament
  • Annual Boxing Smoker

Participation in some events, such as the Sweetheart Dinner and the Golf Tournament, have a separate registration fee.

Membership Do's and Don'ts
WRBA is a unique organization.  We are not a service organization or a tips group, but a social club.  We stress the camaraderie and fellowship of coming together once a month in a refined, yet relaxed and informal atmosphere.

  • We do not hand out business cards (unless asked).  We do not solicit one another.
  • We build long-term relationships.  We are glad to see old friends and make new ones. We do business together.

So if you're looking for business leads and to make sales - WRBA is probably not the place for you.
If you're looking to meet new people and make some friends - then take a look at WRBA (and if you happen to get some business from someone within the group, all the better).  Remember, people do business with people they have relationships with.

Meeting Attire
Attire at the Regular Dinner Meetings, Boxing Smoker and the Sweetheart Dinner is coat & dress pants.  Those who do not adhere to a coat policy will politely be asked to leave the function.  Events such as the Golf Tournament and Texas Hold'Em and Cornhole Tournaments are business casual.
